Fourth of July: Food and Outfits

June 30, 2017
The Fourth is just around the corner so I've put together a round-up of previous blog posts that you can use for inspiration to celebrate with your friends and family. From patriotic desserts to red, white and blue outfits I've got you covered.

Let's start with ideas about what to wear...

I see stripes everywhere... Top, Dress & Pants
Back to Basics: Red White & Blue

You already know the basics of a Fourth of July celebration: gather your favorite people for a casual feast and plan a colorful menu that involves a lot of red, white and blue. Since this holiday is centered around food I thought you could be interested in some of these recipes.

You can make these delicious cupcakes.

Enjoy the outdoors with a picnic.

For those who are more traditional, a homemade burger is always a wise choice.

These parfaits are a healthy and scrumptious dessert.

Make a marzipan cake with patriotic touches.

Start the day off with a yummy fruit tart.

Beat the hot temperatures with a watermelon pizza.

Like any holiday, the Fourth of July can be a bit predictable when it comes to the menu. Be original and invite your friends over for a Spanish tapas party.

Other breakfast options are making overnight oats the day before.

And don't forget to use blue and white china for a patriotic breakfast.

I hope these ideas are useful for you. Happy Fourth!
