This season is being a bit unusual. We are not getting the cold temperaturas we should be getting in December. Even though I always prefer warmer weather, I miss wearing big scarves and snow hats. These days there's a big contrast between the morning and the afternoon so in order to be appropriately dressed from the time you leave the house for work to the time when you go back home you need layers.

Apart from its yumminess other strong points of this cake are that it's super easy to make and you need few ingredients that you probably have in your house already. It works as a desert or you can dunk it in your milk/coffee for breakfast. Oh, and you don't even need an oven!

When I was little I dreamed of living in Los Angeles. So San Diego became my second favorite city in California. Why? I'll let the pictures speak for themselves.

I have curly hair. It's also thin, quite dry but, fortunately, not frizzy. I embrace my natural curls the day I wash my hair. They are perfectly formed, voluminous and shiny. The problem comes the following day, after sleeping it looks much worse. Curls are flat and not shiny any more. And that short new hair looks crazy, every hair going in a different direction and impossible to tame. You may think the solution would be washing it every day but that is not good for your hair. Besides, as I said it's dry so it doesn't get dirty easily. I actually only need to wash my hair twice a week (I do shower every day though ;)).

You only eat them at that time of the year. If you ate them now it'd feel like cheating, right? Such is the case of French toast. In Spain it's very typical to have it around Easter time. There are many different versions but we always like to pair them with a hot cup of chocolate.

Happy Easter, my dear readers! I hope you are enjoying this holiday with your loved ones.
As you know, Easter is one of the most important holidays on the Christian calendar. The New Testament of the Bible says that three days after Jesus was crucified, he rose from the dead. Jesus’s resurrection is the foundation of the Christian faith, symbolizing spiritual resurrection and God’s forgiveness of sin. Since Spain is a Catholic country, this is an important holiday for us. Streets are filled with religious processions from Thrusday through Easter Sunday and some people do not eat meat which is also part of the tradition.
